So here’s what I came up with for the February sketch challenge on the Bombshell Stamps blog.

I used the stamp pack #2301 Man’s Ruin which I bought direct from the Bombshell shop in the US during a Christmas promotion last year. I decided to buy these stamps as I am a big fan of Burlesque and have a thing for skull and crossbones 😉 so these stamps were perfect for me!
I tried to make the main stamped picture look like a playing card with broken hearts instead of classic playing card heart. I then used a note punch, punched 3 from card and stuck them together to make it more like chip board. I then used glossy accents to make them look shiny.
You can’t really see it well in the photo but the text ‘Man’s Ruin’ is mounted on foam stickers on to black sparkly paper. The red heart (made from a heart punch) was punched 3 times and stuck together like the black notes notes but this time I used crackle accents which looks like the heart is breaking!
This is my first try at making a card from a sketch. It was quite a challenge I’ll ya’ that, but an enjoyable one!
