Christmas gift evening at a High School

Pippa and I are going to have a stall/table at a Christmas gift evening. We plan to make and sell handmade Christmas cards. Over lunch we decided that we would sell packs of 8 cards which has 4 design 2 of each.

This evening our job was to get started and to come up with at least one design that can be replicated easily…and here’s my first prototype! Another 3 to design and 30 of each card to make…it’s gonna take a while but we’ll do it 🙂

LouWeezCreates….a Pizza Party!

For Barney’s birthday we have decided to have a Pizza making party. After lots of research online for some childrens chef hats and aprons I decided to ‘try’ and have a go at making them myself…bearing in mind this is for 8 kids!!! I must be mad 😉

Update so far…I have ordered and received some black n’ white checkered material, some black bias binding and some honeycomb material. I already had some black poly cotton for the lining. During the weekend I started cutting out the aprons and sewing on the bias binding.

I used a free apron pattern which I found online, click here so see the pattern I roughly used.

Not quite sure how I am going to approach the chef hats yet…will post an update soon.
